Easy, full of fiber and protein
Bowl of Red Please!
All the things!
Browning the meat.
As it browns, add onions, chopped green chilis and garlic (note, someone forgot garlic) also Salt, pepper and oregano.
Squeeze in some tomato paste. about two tablespoons. More won’t hurt anything. Let it cook for a minute.
Then add the chili powders, I have a LOT of chili powders. A regular blend is a good start, I do Ancho, Chipotle, a California blend. You can also add habanero or jalapeno if you like it hot.
Add in your cans of Chili Beans. If you’d rather, use pintos and kidneys and just add more chili powders.
Also, if you swing this way, put in a spoonful of Chicken or Beef Bullion. I didn’t this time, but sometimes I do.
Cook and taste until it’s just how you like it.
